Your Wonderful Wedding Ceremony
At the heart of A Perfect Little Wedding Package is your Wonderful Wedding Ceremony. You may also reserve our services for just the ceremony alone or choose our Photo Package. You may add "a la carte" items to the basic ceremony, such as a Bouquet for the Bride and petals to be scattered on the ground where you will stand.
Designing Your Ceremony
And, we make designing your ceremony as easy as can be! Once we have received your reservation, we will Email you a letter that includes simple instructions about designing the perfect ceremony. There are also 11 different ceremonies for you to look through.
More Ceremony Options
Some couples prefer a more personalized ceremony and, if so, we offer more options in our very complete Wedding Planning Guide Booklet. We also provide you with a simple questionnaire where we can learn a little more about you both, allowing us to interject some very personal (sometimes playful?) sentiments about the two of you.
The Interlude
A wedding Ceremony is made up of different sections. It will often begin with a processional. There are Opening Words, Vows, Ring Vows, and the Pronouncement. To make your ceremony richer and fuller you can add things such as Readings or Prayers or musical pieces. You can also add an “Interlude.” This is a small ceremony within the big ceremony. The Interlude can be a Candle Lighting Ceremony, a Sand Ceremony, a Fire Ceremony or perhaps a Wine Ceremony. There are others, but these are the most popular. These four distinctive interludes are explained in detail in our wedding guide and our ceremony email we will send you when you reserve our services. When you add one of these Interludes to your ceremony, we will provide all the necessary accoutrements that you will keep as a memento of your Beautiful Wedding Ceremony.
Including Your Children in the Ceremony
Some of our couples have children from previous marriages and wish to include them in the ceremony. We sometimes include a few words mentioning their names and acknowledging their importance in your lives. The Sand Ceremony is another way of including them. Its very nice when, after mentioning their names for them to step forward with you two and participate in the pouring of the sand. We can provide up to four vases with different colored sand in each vase.
The Vow Renewal
We love Vow Renewals! Often performed on a Married Couple’s Anniversary, a Vow Renewal is just like a wedding ceremony but the couple doesn’t need a license! Its an expression of enduring love that many couples feel day to day and now want to acknowledge to each other. Your Vow Renewal is often a family reunion and offers opportunities for some wonderful family photographs.
Locations!
We can perform your ceremony just about anywhere you want. In the Puget Sound Area there are dozens of fabulous locations. Remember small? This often means you can have your Wedding Ceremony at a public place without needing permits and reservations. The smaller ceremonies blend perfectly with our photo packages! Marriage License Information
You don’t need a Marriage License for us to perform a marriage celebration for you, however, if you want your marriage legally recognized, you will want to have a Marriage License obtained from the State of Washington at one of their Marriage License Offices. Usually, people obtain a license in the county where they are to be married.

If you are Renewing Your Vows and want one of our very romantic, beautiful ceremonies, you do not need a license.
Rehearsals and Ceremony Coordination
With our smaller, more Intimate Wedding Ceremonies, there is really no need for a rehearsal. If you’re asking us to be a part of your larger, more formal wedding, we will be happy to attend and coordinate the rehearsal for an additional fee. Vickie can also assist with the coordination of your Processional on Wedding Day, as needed.
Photography
For many years Curtis Rhodes Photography has been one of the most respected names in the Seattle Wedding Community. Literally hundreds of Wedding Couples and their families continue to love the Photo Images we have created for them. Keeping in tempo with the times, we have come to realize that many, many couples want to experience more of the essence of the Wedding Day and our ceremony/photo packages reflect that. We offer classic, contemporary portraiture … a relaxed, fun photo session that, in most cases, takes no more than an hour. Photos of the two of you, your friends and families, the ceremony and a little fun, photojournalism thrown in! Curtis and Vickie’s Light and Lively way of being make this a very happy and easy session. Once you are married and the photos are taken, off you go to your reception.
We Can Be Available!
If you would like, we can continue the photo session at your reception, photographing your guests, the details, the two of you in your reception room, with the cake and the fun. We can also be available to offer you a small photo package without being your officiant. Please let us know what it is that you want!
What We Offer in Our Photo Packages
After we say our Goodbyes on your wedding day we head home and immediately download your photo and make a back up disc. After carefully editing, arranging and light Photoshopping to make your photos perfect, we burn another Disc of High Resolution JPGS that will become yours. While in Photoshop we will make some of your images into black and whites or sepia tones and sometimes spend a bit more time to turn one or two of the photos into what we think of as a fine art print.
In our smaller photo package we present you with 50 4x6 boxed prints with the CD and a copyright release enabling you to make as many reprints and enlargements as you like!
In our larger package you will receive 90 4x6 boxed prints, the CD, PLUS a beautiful Press Printed Wedding Memory Album containing 90 prints in assorted sizes, some Black and Whites and that special full page Art Print!
It typically takes about a week to receive the prints and CD from our smaller package. The Prints, CD and Album in our larger package take about four weeks to send to you. We ship your photos, etc. Via the USPS using Priority Mail with tracking unless you request otherwise.
The Loving Couple, Engagement Photo Session
Prior to your wedding we will schedule a time for us to meet you at one of our local parks or perhaps downtown to do some fun, beautiful portraits of you two. It’s a casual, relaxed experience that results in your having (maybe for the first time!) a fabulous collection of Professional Photographs of the two of you. Couples often use these photos at their receptions in their guest book or enlarge a favorite image for a signing mat. From this session, you will receive 12 4x6 images and the High Resolution JPGS on a CD.
Our Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
Should you need to reschedule your wedding we will do everything in our power to find a spot on our calendar that is acceptable to both of us. You must realize that our calendar gets very full, especially on the weekends and so you must be ready to accept a date during the week. Once we have found the date that works for everyone and we have adjusted our calendar to suit and you again need to reschedule, there will be a $100.00 fee for us to again adjust our calendar.
Should you have to cancel your wedding, for any reason, we cannot Refund Your Deposit. Due to the nature of our business, when we put you on our calendar, we have reserved that date and time only for you. From that point forward, we will tell every other couple that calls for that date and time that we are no longer available. If you decide to cancel your reservation, we will have lost the opportunity to perform a ceremony and photograph another couple's wedding. This is why we have a NO REFUND policy.
